Review: Die for Me by Amy Plum

Die for Me by Amy Plum

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 Stars.

I am relatively sure I screamed at my little sister how awesome I found the idea of the “Revenants” to be. It is rare that I find new beings in paranormal and fantasy books. So when I read the elaborate back story, I got all starry-eyed fangirl.

Kate and her sister lives with their grandparents after the tragic death of their parents. Even in Paris, Kate can’t find it in herself to live—until she meets the mysterious Vincent, and his group of friends who seems to have no problem dying in order to save someone else.

Okay, so I know that the summary makes this book sound like some angsty contemporary about suicide, but it isn’t. I promise!

Instead, it’s a paranormal YA set in modern days Paris.

Recommended for: If you liked other YA paranormal books, this might be for you. It has some funny moments, and Vincent is a pretty good contender for a Book Boyfriend Contest.
