Book Review: This Savage Song by V. E. Schwab

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rating: 5/5 = ALL the fricking stars.

This book was described as “Romeo and Juliet meets Sin city–without the romance.”

I’m a huge romance fan, so I didn’t think this would be a hit with me. But boy, was I wrong.

August is a monster. Kate is a human.

They’re the heirs to the two most powerful forces in their divided city, and they are on opposite sides.

Then they meet. While this could have been a setup for an amazing romance, it wasn’t needed.

Just… if you’re on the fence with this because of the lack of romance, try it anyway.

You might be surprised. I was.
